HOW GOOD ARE YOU?

ABSTRACT ART TRIVIA

By Marna Wells & Penelope de Vassy

(International Center For The Study Of De La Croix’s Progressive Neo Cubism)

On this page you will find 10  world wide known masterpieces by famous artists. They have appeared almost everywhere; museums, art books, encyclopedias, national and international exhibitions, on tour-exchange of the art and culture programs, you name it. You should be able to recognize all the painters, if you pretend to know any thing about abstract art. Any person who knows and reads about abstract art in all its form from the Cubism,  to Minimalism must at least name 7 artists/painters out of 10. You might not remember the title of each painting, for various titles and names were given in virtue of various and different translations but, hey! The style is very revealing. You should be able to name the painter for each of those posted paintings from his or her dominant and characteristic style. Good Luck, Avanti and Presto!

STANDARDS:

1-     If you manage to recognize the identity of all the painters, then you are EXCELLENT!

2-     If you are able to name 9 painters out of 10, then you are very good

3-     If you name only 8, then you are good

4-     If you name only 7, then you are OK

5-     If you name only 6, then you are less then desirable to be around
